Your Opportunity as the Specialist, Learning and Development
Contribute to the growth of our internal talent and play a key role in helping our organization stay ahead of the curve. Leverage your project management and facilitation skills to create, implement and deliver world class training programs across our entire enterprise.
Location: Orrville, OH
Work Arrangements: hybrid, 25-50% in office expectation with 20% annual travel domestically
In this role you will:
Design and build learning and development (L&D) programs: career development; management training; diversity inclusion and equity; performance evaluation; compliance training
Understand and train others on the return on investment (ROI) of L&D programs and previous experience presenting metrics to senior leadership that show this ROI
Facilitation (in person and virtual) delivery of core and supplemental talent development offerings
Provide consultative support to consider best practices for function-specific training initiatives
Understand change management and help others through change with proven OD and learning strategies
Develop learning options beyond the classroom that enable self-led learning efforts, including e-learning to improve the current process as well as enable additional capabilities
Coordinate session follow-up activities (incorporating participant feedback for continuous improvement of the program)
Serve as a consultative resource to the business by providing support in the planning (prioritization, problem-solving, decision-making, and continuous improvement) and facilitation as necessary

What we are looking for:
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organization Development, Business Management, or related field
2 years of experience in corporate and/or operations learning & development, instructional design/technology, or equivalent experience
Experience using on-line collaboration tools like SharePoint, Yammer, Microsoft Teams etc.
Advanced computer skills including knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Proven skills in project management and change management
Strong understanding of training measurement and evaluation
Experience in consulting and influencing multiple stakeholders to positively impact results through recommended learning solutions
Ability to synthesize through diverse perspectives, identify issues, and resolve challenges
Ability to understand and implement adult learning theory and practices when facilitating and designing curriculum
Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role:
Understanding of the mechanics of the entire employee lifecycle
Experience using training development tools (Articulate 360, Workday, Camtasia, Adobe Publisher, Yammer!, MS Teams and Zoom etc.)
Experience leveraging a cloud based LMS system like Workday
Certification(s) in facilitation, instructional design, change management, project management, HR or related field
