Work Arrangements: 100% on-site, 3rd Shift 10pm-7am Thursday-Monday – Flexibility required. Willingness to work off shift (including nights, weekends, and/or holidays) and flow to the work as needed

In This Role You Will
- Lead and direct sanitation team activities while driving execution of daily priorities and longer-term department objectives
- Coach, influence, and develop employees to build capability, improve performance, and strengthen team effectiveness
- Ensure compliance with sanitation standards, regulatory requirements, GMPs, and food safety programs to prevent contamination
- Conduct routine inspections, identify gaps, and drive corrective actions to closure, including root cause identification and elimination of recurring issues
- Train, motivate, and hold employees accountable to established procedures, work rules, and performance expectations
- Maintain accurate and timely sanitation records, ensuring documentation meets internal and audit requirements
- Evaluate employee performance and address performance concerns through coaching, feedback, and corrective action as needed
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Maintenance, Quality Assurance and HR to resolve issues and maintain hygienic equipment and facility conditions
- Support pest management and environmental monitoring programs and coordinate response activities as required
- Promote a safe work environment aligned with corporate safety programs and ensure adherence to safety policies
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve sanitation processes, efficiency, and overall plant performance
- Deliver results aligned with company standards, operating procedures, and food safety expectations
- Perform additional duties to support efficient plant operations
What We Are Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year manufacturing experience
- Minimum 1 year of leadership experience
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
- Experience in a food manufacturing environment highly preferred
- Working knowledge of GMPs highly preferred
- Experience in high-volume, multi-line production environments
- Familiarity with food safety systems and third-party audit requirements (e.g., BRCGS)
- Demonstrated ability to train, coach, and develop employees
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to talk and hear.
- Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Able to lift objects up to 50 pounds frequently.
- May push and pull heavy trash carts, dough carts, portable equipment, and catch pans.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
