In This Role You Will
- Strategic Technology Leadership & Guidance
- Cultivate a culture of innovation, empower teams to expand their technical expertise, and provide ongoing guidance and training on emerging technologies Understand and synthesize existing JMS processes and use cases
- Manage the prioritization of opportunities, ensuring alignment with the overall Finance vision and strategy as well as the return on investment
- Set the strategic direction for the Finance department, ensuring all initiatives align with the broader organizational vision and deliver measurable value
- Project Oversight & Governance
- Provide the necessary support for key projects and initiatives
- Support system cloud implementations from a data and reporting perspective
- Ensure compliance needs are met around data and reporting
- Team Development & People Leadership
- Build and develop direct report(s)/team(s) that deliver results in support of the Company strategy through essential day-to-day management strategies
- Support indirect teams – including other data analysts through the Finance function
- Continuous Improvement & Innovation

Minimum Requirements
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer information systems, information technology, or related field
- 6 years of experience in data & analytics, process automation, data science, and any other relevant technology field
- Understanding of relational databases and a knowledge of programming. Familiarity with certain languages (SQL, R, Python)
- Ability to manage and develop a team with varying levels of experience and exposure to business processes
- Experience in process improvement initiatives
- Strong business, financial, and technical acumen with attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with large data sets and a high comfort level in manipulating and analyzing complex, high-volume, high dimensionality data from varying sources and levels of quality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - able to communicate across functional areas and effectively communicate technical topics
- Strong understanding of concepts relating to data quality, data profiling, and enterprise data governance
- Continuous learning mindset necessary to advance the department as the company adopts new technologies for modelling, forecasting, machine learning, automation, etc.
- Experience with Spotfire, Tableau, and Databricks
- Experience with Copilot or other AI tools
- Familiarity with Blue Prism or other RPA tools
