What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lumber Yard Associate position at The J. F. Johnson Lumber Company?
Summary:
Fill orders for customers in the lumberyard, stock material, assist in general maintenance and housekeeping of the yard, and receiving materials as needed.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Customer Service
- Operating or learn to operate: a forklift, tape measure, and 12” Slide Compound Saw.
- Receiving Materials
- Housekeeping
Experience:
· Ability to perform basic math calculations- required
· Operating a forklift- preferred
· Receiving- preferred
· Able to lift up to 100lbs- required
· Able to work on Saturdays and overtime (if needed)- required
· Computer skills preferred
