We are seeking a polished, dependable, and experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) who takes pride in both clinical skill and client experience.
Role Description
This role is ideal for an LVN who is technically strong with IV starts, calm under pressure, personable with clients, and comfortable working in a fast-paced wellness environment. You will be responsible for assisting with IV therapy services, monitoring clients during treatment, maintaining safety standards, and creating an exceptional customer experience.
In addition to clinical care, this position plays an important role in supporting business growth by helping clients understand available wellness services, recommending appropriate future visits when suitable, and contributing to client retention through rebookings, repeat visits, and membership awareness.
This is not an entry-level nursing role. Candidates must have real-world experience successfully starting IVs on a regular basis.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in IV therapy, including starting IVs and administering fluids and injections.
- Ability to perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs during procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to create a comfortable and professional patient experience.
- Experience in maintaining clinical records and adherence to safety, hygiene, and infection control protocols.
- Active Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) certification in the state of Texas.
- CPR/BLS certification and knowledge of emergency response procedures in a clinical setting.
- Experience in a wellness or preventive care setting is a plus.
- High level of organization, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Professional and polished appearance and demeanor.
Core Responsibilities
Clinical Duties
- Perform skilled IV insertions efficiently and safely
- Prepare IV stations, supplies, and treatment rooms
- Initiate, monitor, troubleshoot, and discontinue IV infusions
- Obtain vitals and health screening information
- Recognize and escalate adverse reactions immediately
- Administer approved intramuscular injections per protocol
- Maintain accurate documentation and charting
- Follow standing orders and supervising provider protocols
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and OSHA/HIPAA compliance
- Other clinical duties, as assigned
Client Experience Duties
- Welcome clients warmly and professionally
- Explain treatment flow and answer basic questions
- Ensure clients are comfortable during therapy
- Maintain a calm, upscale, wellness-focused environment
- Encourage rebooking and repeat visits through excellent service
Operational Duties
- Inventory checks for IV supplies and disposables
- Restocking rooms and nursing stations
- Assist with opening/closing procedures
- Support team efficiency and clinic flow
- Other operational duties, as assigned
