Responsibilities
- Insert and administer IV infusions safely throughout Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero & Fort Myers, FL
- Perform patient assessments including vital signs and medical history review
- Ensure strict adherence to aseptic techniques, infection control, and protocols during all procedures
- Educate patients on treatment plans and post-infusion care to promote understanding and compliance
- Maintain accurate medical documentation within electronic health records (EHR) following HIPAA guidelines
- Manage emergency situations with appropriate critical care response procedures.
Qualifications
- REQUIRED- Valid nursing license (RN) with current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- REQUIRED- At least 1 years experience working with intravenous therapy, including IV insertion (ER, OR, or infusion center preferred)
- EXCELLENT IV insertion skills
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology relevant to infusion therapy
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple patient visits efficiently in various settings
