For our World Triathlon Corporation d/b/a The IRONMAN Group in Tampa, Florida or Louisville, CO we are seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Social Media Intern.
What You’ll Be Doing
Step into a role where no two days are the same, and your impact is felt far beyond your desk. You will:
- Assist in writing and posting on our social media channels
- Assist with content screening & management (DAM, other external storage)
- Assist in sponsor-related postings and reporting
- Sourcing user-generated content on TikTok/Instagram
- Stay up to date in the triathlon and social media world for news and updates
- Position will be 20 hours or less per week
- This is an unpaid position for college credit only
Requirements
What You Bring to the Team
We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just tick boxes, but thrives in our fast-paced, global environment. Ideally, you have:
- Proficient in Facebook, Instagram & TikTok. YouTube is a plus.
- Strong copywriting skills with keen attention to detail
- Working knowledge of content creation and editing (Reels). Photoshop or Canva skills are a plus.
- Journalism, marketing, and digital media major desired but not required.
- Strong priority and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently on projects is a must.
