The Role Overview:
We are looking for a curious, detail-oriented, and data-driven research assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the design, execution, and analysis of customer-focused research projects that address business issues, realize consumer insights, and support strategic decision making. Reporting to the Director of Market Research, this position will support the Director to identify customer needs, brand market issues and opportunities through data and insights organization, presentation and customer-level data analysis; provide brand perspective on overall portfolio and business-unit initiatives; and help develop insights and effectively communicate recommendations to Senior Leadership and global, cross-functional teams.
To be successful, the Research Assistant should have some experience in statistics, marketing research or consumer insights with an understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. We are seeking an accomplished multi-tasker and creative thinker with strong attention to detail. This position-holder needs to be curious, results-driven, and a team player who will collaborate with international stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
Research Project Execution & Coordination
- Ensure smooth end to end execution of research projects including supporting survey drafting, programming, monitoring, and presentation creation
- Coordinate the creation and feedback process of designing research projects in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Collaborate to craft and send email communications around research projects
- Design and create, in collaboration, visual presentations to tell the story behind the data
- Support with administrative tasks such as invoicing, incentive fulfilment, and scheduling
Analyze Data and Market Trends
- Synthesize data from primary, syndicated, and third-party data sources to inspire change through actionable storytelling, digestible consumer findings, and identifying the ‘so what’ behind the data
- Evaluate current athlete satisfaction surveys to recommend updates, optimize reporting, and identify drivers of customer satisfaction
- Collect key industry metrics and maintain database of reference points
- Support all areas of the business for ad hoc insights requests requiring internal or third party research
Requirements
What You Bring to the Team
We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just tick boxes, but thrives in our fast-paced, global environment. Ideally, you have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- Strong organization skills, superior time management and prioritization skills
- Well-skilled in Excel and PowerPoint
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong self-motivation and the ability to work independently
- Teamwork and collaboration
- 1-3 years of marketing research/consumer insights or adjacent experience
- Experience with survey design and development is a plus
- Experience with survey platforms (i.e. Qualtrics) and data visualization tools (i.e. Tableau) is a plus
- A love of the endurance sport industry is a benefit
