Wondering what a day in the life of an Infusion Center RN at The Iowa Clinic's Urbandale campus might look like?
- Arrive at work in the morning - no night shifts here!
- Deliver high-quality professional nursing care to various patients.
- Administer infusion therapies on an outpatient basis, monitor vital signs, change dressings, utilize electronic health records, and attend to patient needs efficiently and compassionately.
- Coordinate patient care and demonstrate teamwork with multiple departments and healthcare professionals to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Provide appropriate education and support to patients and their families while respecting and protecting patient privacy.
Licensure/Certifications:
- BLS certification
- Heart Association
- ACLS certification (preferred)
- RN with experience in Infusion Services (preferred but not required)
- Must possess excellent IV skills and have a strong clinical background, working collaboratively with other nurses and healthcare providers.
- You are passionate about patient care
