Position contingent upon contract award As the Cloud Architect , you will be responsible for designing and implementing highly scalable and secure cloud solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and design cloud architectures that align with industry best practices. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: * Design and implement cloud architecture solutions using leading cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and define cloud strategies
- Ensure the security, scalability, and availability of cloud environments
- Implement best practices and provide guidance on cloud-native services and technologies
- Create architectural diagrams, documentation, and presentations
- Support project teams in the implementation and deployment of cloud solutions
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior cloud engineers
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and implementing cloud solutions KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: * Strong proficiency in AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure cloud platforms
- Experience with cloud-native services, such as Lambda, EC2, S3, and RDS
- Deep understanding of cloud architecture principles and best practices
- Knowledge of networking, security, and infrastructure
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Understanding of DevOps practices and tools
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
