Qualifications
High School or equivalent
College degree in education or similar subject preferred
Current CPR certification and First Aid training
Experience working with children ages 3-5
Responsibilities
Instructor summer camp for Junior Pre-K, Pre-K, and Kindergarten age students
Organizes weekly/daily agenda of activities
Maintains a clean and organized classroom
Supervises and maintains safety of each student in the program
Camps occur weekly during the month of June from 9am-4pm, with a paid break from 12pm-1pm
Supports and upholds the mission and values of the International School of Texas
Maintains confidentiality regarding school matters
Continually monitors and supervises all activities of the participants
Follows school policies regarding safety guidelines
Communicates with Activities Director efficiently
Demonstrates professionalism in conduct, demeanor, and work habits
Uses approved, corrective, and positive discipline procedures in dealing with inappropriate student conduct
Required to maintain composure
Pay
$50/hour at 7 hours per day, equivalent to $1,750/week
