We are seeking a dynamic and culturally competent Latina Spanish Speaker to join our team as a Multilingual Interpreter. Responsibilities

• Provide over-the-phone and in-person interpretation services for a variety of clients and professionals in real-time situations.
• Conduct simultaneous interpretation during live conversations, conferences, or meetings to ensure seamless communication flow.
• Perform consecutive interpretation for interviews, educational sessions, and official appointments, accurately conveying messages between Spanish and English.
• Assist with educational interpretation tasks, including translating documents and facilitating understanding during training or informational sessions.
• Demonstrate cultural competency by understanding regional dialects, idiomatic expressions, and cultural nuances to enhance interpretation accuracy.
• Uphold professional ethics by maintaining confidentiality, neutrality, and impartiality at all times during interpretation engagements.
• Collaborate with team members to improve language services and ensure high-quality communication standards across all assignments.

Qualifications

• Fluent in both Spanish (preferably with Latin American dialect proficiency) and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven experience in interpretation, including over-the-phone, simultaneous, consecutive, and educational interpretation settings.
• Strong understanding of linguistics principles, translation techniques, and cultural competency practices.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and adhere to strict confidentiality standards.
• Familiarity with American Sign Language is a plus but not required.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining accuracy and clarity in communication.
• Educational background or certification in interpretation or linguistics is preferred but not mandatory.
