The Force Management Analyst serves as a subject matter expert (SME) satisfying A2R’s intelligence requirements necessary for CAOC operations, QRCs, and other theater operations. Ensures requirements are properly requested, staffed, maintained, tracked, and sourced through appropriate channels and systems. Coordinates with A1, A3, and outside units. This requires acute decision-making skills in a government environment and the ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.

The Force Management Analyst serves as a subject matter expert (SME) satisfying A2R’s intelligence requirements necessary for CAOC operations, QRCs, and other theater operations. Ensures requirements are properly requested, staffed, maintained, tracked, and sourced through appropriate channels and systems. Coordinates with A1, A3, and outside units. This requires acute decision-making skills in a government environment and the ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.
Essential Functions
- Performs duties as Functional Area Manager (FAM) for intel deployment requirements.
- Interprets, develops, and applies, AFCENT Intel operational planning and execution.
- Coordinates with MAJCOM Intel FAMs and GFM to ensure accuracy of intel requirements.
- Monitors and coordinates on changes to intel requirements in the Global Force Management Allocation Plan (GFMAP).
- Coordinates with Air Staff counterparts to ensure maximum use of UTCs - Performs intel UTC development, management, and maintenance activities - Determines the appropriate rotational and surge operation intel TPFDD requirements - Develops and reviews prioritized intelligence requirements and corresponding ISR collection requirements in support of mission objectives.
- Provides training mentoring on requirements, as required - Provides consultation, subject matter expertise, and advice to customer and/or company.
- Supports the unit with other Requirements Force Management related needs as requested.
- 4 years of related experience, e.g. A1 Manpower, A2 Force Management, etc.
- Thorough understanding of the Air Force deployment requirements and systems.
- Thorough understanding of A2R functions and Responsibilities: Experience working Air Force Manpower and Personnel functions.
- Familiarity with the CENTCOM AOR.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- High level of motivation, productiveness and personal organization.
- Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS for short TDY assignments - Active Secret clearance with SCI.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
