Brief Description
Faculty of the Mid-Hudson program train residents in full spectrum family medicine within the context of community and public health. Comprehensive clinical care, including behavioral health and addiction treatment, is supported by our award-winning Epic electronic health record system. As one of three residency programs operated by the Institute for Family Health, residency faculty are afforded multiple opportunities for professional development and collaboration with our sister programs in New York City. Faculty are eligible for academic appointment at our affiliated medical schools: The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Requirements
- Must be board-certified in family medicine, with a minimum of one year of faculty experience and two years of of post graduate clinical practice preferably in a community health care setting
- Demonstrate superior clinical skills
- Demonstrate skill in resident teaching and evaluation
- Demonstrate leadership skills
- Maintain knowledge of residency training requirements
- Demonstrate ability to organize care/ activities of multiple tasks simultaneously, including appropriate prioritization along with that of the program needs
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal, communication, organizational, and conflict management skills
