Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Wilmington, DE. The Program Manager - Acceleration will design, execute, and oversee programs to support entrepreneurs in the science, technology, and innovation sectors as they scale their startups. Responsibilities include managing acceleration activities, providing mentorship, monitoring program effectiveness, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders such as investors, partners, and service providers. The role also involves organizing workshops, networking events, and progress evaluations to ensure startup success and drive community engagement.
Qualifications
- Program development and management skills with experience in coordinating and executing acceleration or startup programs
- Strong mentorship, coaching, and network-building abilities to support and guide entrepreneurs
- Experience in organizing events, facilitating workshops, and monitoring program performance
- Effective communication, collaboration, and stakeholder relationship management skills
- Knowledge of the life sciences, clean tech, or advanced materials industries is highly desirable
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt and drive results in fast-paced, dynamic environments
- Bachelor’s degree in business, science, or related field; advanced degree preferred
