We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness across various facilities, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff alike. Previous experience in cleaning, hospitality, or custodial services is highly valued. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Maintain high standards of floor care, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning materials as needed
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and free of dust or debris to promote a healthy environment
- Follow established protocols for industrial cleaning or janitorial tasks when required
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Assist with special projects related to housekeeping management or facility upkeep as assigned
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments such as hotels or healthcare facilities is preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning procedures is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team
- Excellent organizational skills and reliability in completing assigned tasks on time
- Ability to lift moderate loads and stand for extended periods during shifts
- Previous custodial or housekeeper management experience is a plus but not required
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and sanitary environment in accordance with health standards
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
