We are on the lookout for a friendly, organized, and professional Maître D’ to lead our front-of-house team and ensure our guests have an unforgettable dining experience. As the face of the restaurant’s guest relations, you’ll be responsible for managing reservations, coordinating seating arrangements, and providing top-notch customer service. Duties

• Manage restaurant reservation systems and coordinate seating plans to optimize flow and guest comfort.
• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, assist with seating, and address any special requests or needs.
• Oversee guest services throughout their dining experience, ensuring high standards of hospitality are maintained.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate timing and service flow.
• Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, using proper phone etiquette to manage reservations and answer guest questions.
• Maintain organized records of reservations, waitlists, and guest preferences using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Support food safety protocols by ensuring cleanliness and proper handling of dining areas and utensils.

Experience

• Previous experience as a host/hostess or Maître D’ in a busy restaurant or hotel environment is highly preferred.
• Strong background in restaurant reservation management and guest relations.
• Familiarity with restaurant table management systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and customer service expertise.
• Experience working with POS systems and food service operations to coordinate seamless service delivery.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor under pressure.
• Knowledge of hospitality standards, food safety practices, and restaurant operations will set you apart.
