Housekeeper

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, order, and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas to ensure a welcoming and comfortable experience for all resort guests. This role requires a strong commitment to providing excellent service and upholding high standards of cleanliness in a hospitality setting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing linens and amenities.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including sinks, tubs, toilets, mirrors, and floors.
• Restock guest supplies such as towels, toiletries, and beverages.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Clean assigned public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and lounges.
• Follow resort standards for cleanliness, hygiene, and safety.
• Properly handle lost and found items according to policy.
• Use cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly.
• Assist in special cleaning projects as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience in hospitality is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Physical stamina to perform duties (e.g., bending, standing, lifting up to 25 lbs).
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Working Conditions

• Fast-paced resort/hotel environment.
• Frequent exposure to cleaning chemicals.
• Standing and walking for extended periods.

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour
