Position Summary
The Overnight Front Desk Agent is responsible for ensuring a safe, secure, and seamless guest experience during overnight hours. This role combines front desk operations, guest services, light audit responsibilities, and property oversight. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-sufficient, and thrives in a quiet, service-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all overnight guest needs
- Perform late check-ins and early check-outs with professionalism and warmth
- Monitor property security and ensure guest safety throughout the night
- Conduct nightly audit procedures, including reconciliation of daily transactions
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, or issues
- Prepare reports for management and morning staff handoff
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and common areas
- Assist with light housekeeping or setup tasks as needed
- Handle emergency situations calmly and in accordance with company protocols
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, hotel front desk, or guest services preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions overnight
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills
