Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Sous Chef to join our culinary team. Schedule is Wednesday - Sunday. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high level of culinary skill to prepare complex dishes with meticulous attention to detail, demonstrating exceptional culinary skills and a commitment to food safety. As a Sous Chef, you will assist the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and leading the kitchen staff to deliver an outstanding dining experience.
Duties
- Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and recipe development.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
- Supporting Breakfast at onsite Bed and Breakfast
- Oversee food production processes to maintain quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.
- Train new kitchen staff on culinary techniques and safety protocols.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
