Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. Duties
- Launder and dry clean various items including linens, towels, and uniforms according to established procedures.
- Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Sort, fold, and organize clean laundry items for easy distribution.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to ensure a safe working environment.
- Inspect items for stains or damage before cleaning and report any issues to management.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Skills
- Experience in a hotel or similar setting is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of dry cleaning processes is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to ensure high-quality cleaning standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
