We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant for our boutique hotel located in the heart of Downtown Boise, the Inn at 500 Capitol. This individual will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional guest experience by ensuring each room is thoughtfully prepared, impeccably clean, and welcoming. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and thrives in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment. As with the nature of the hospitality industry, a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, is required.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Guest Room Cleaning and Presentation:
· Clean and service guest rooms to the highest boutique hotel standards
· Make beds and refresh linens with attention to comfort and presentation
· Vacuum carpets and maintain overall cleanliness of guest rooms and hallways
· Dust, polish, and maintain all furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
· Ensure rooms are fully reset and guest-ready for arrival
2. Bathroom Cleaning and Sanitation:
· Clean and sanitize all restroom areas, including sinks, showers, bathtubs, and toilets
· Replenish towels, toiletries, and amenities to brand standards
· Ensure a spotless and elevated bathroom experience for each guest
3. Inventory and Restocking:
· Empty trash in guest rooms and service areas
· Restock guest amenities, linens, and supplies as needed
· Maintain organized housekeeping carts and storage areas
4. Team Collaboration and Communication:
· Report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly to the appropriate department
· Communicate effectively with housekeeping leadership and team members
· Support team members to ensure efficiency and consistency in daily operations
Job Requirements:
· Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred, but not required
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and presentation
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
· Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Essential Functions:
· Perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive motion throughout the shift
· Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization at all times
· Complete assigned rooms and tasks within designated timeframes
· Uphold hotel standards for guest service and professionalism
· Attend all required meetings and trainings
· Meet any additional requirements as needed for this role
