The Imaging Center at Wolf River is seeking a friendly, organized, and patient-focused Business Office Specialist I to join our team in Germantown, TN.
Position Status: PRN
Schedule: As needed
Location: 7600 Wolf River Boulevard, Suite 100, Germantown, TN 38138
Position Summary
The Business Office Specialist I supports daily front-office operations, including patient registration, scheduling, and pre-certification/insurance authorizations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, communicates well, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and register patients
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient visits
- Assist with insurance verification, pre-certification, and authorizations
- Answer phones and communicate with patients and referring providers
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the patient experience

Requirements
EDUCATION:
- To be competitive, must have high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Ability to work independently and multitask.
- Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Knowledge of computer applications and Microsoft Office
