Position Overview:
This position is responsible for analyzing job specifications and calculating the total cost of printing projects. This includes determining material requirements, labor, press time, finishing process, and overhead expenses.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed price quotes and proposals for clients, ensuring accuracy and profitability while meeting customer expectations and deadlines.
- Collaborate with sales, production, and purchasing to confirm feasibility, optimize efficiency, and maintain cost control throughout the production process.
- Obtain outside material/service cost as needed
- Provide competitive pricing and alternative options
- Work with ERP team to monitor system updates, issues and challenges
- Develop knowledge of process, materials, equipment and outside partners to determine the best way to manufacture
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Mandatory Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- 3 years of print estimating experience in offset & grand format (or similar Digital Print equipment-a Plus)
- Proactive, creative and cost-effective approach identifying & solving problems
- Attentional to detail with an analytic focus
- Experience working with an ERP (Monarch experience preferred)
Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel, Word & Outlook and experience with various Enterprise Resource Planning software
The national pay range for this role is listed above. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
