Responsibilities
- Mix and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair.
- Take orders from guests accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure smooth transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, making recommendations, and ensuring their needs are met promptly.
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties efficiently while keeping track of sales using retail math skills.
- Support bar operations during busy nights or events like banquets and catering functions to ensure timely service.
- Follow all health regulations related to food safety, alcohol service, and responsible serving practices.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a bartender in settings such as nightclubs, fine dining restaurants, or banquet halls is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred; basic math skills are essential for accurate cash handling.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests from around the world.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures in the food industry.
- Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume shifts while maintaining quality service.
- Experience with beverage preparation techniques including brewing coffee or craft cocktails is a plus.
