Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in commercial buildings.
- Work on heating, water, and drainage systems from rough-in through final installation.
- Support journeyman plumbers and project teams with daily tasks, calculations, and documentation.
- Research plumbing and HVAC equipment to support project requirements.
- Communicate with vendors and participate in training or technical learning sessions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following company safety standards.
- Show initiative, reliability, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a commercial plumbing environment OR pursuing a career in plumbing/mechanical systems with relevant technical training.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions.
- Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- You must hold a valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to HVAC or mechanical systems.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, or related design software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Punctual, reliable, and able to meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Plumber's Apprentice Registration Card through the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners (TSBPE).
- Maintain good standing by renewing the card annually.
