Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, service, maintain, and repair light commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units, split systems, and associated components
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control issues efficiently and safely
- Perform preventative maintenance and emergency service calls as needed
- Complete work orders, service reports, and documentation accurately and promptly
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding system issues, repairs, and recommendations
- Maintain company tools, vehicles, and equipment in a safe and professional manner
- Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations
- Participate in on-call rotation, including evenings and weekends as required
Qualifications & Experience
- 2–5 years of commercial or light commercial HVAC service experience preferred
- EPA Universal Certification
- Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a valid Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) certification/licensure as required for the position.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong teamwork and communication
- High school diploma or GED required
Licenses & Requirements
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record, consistent with company and insurance requirements
- Ability to safely operate company vehicles and travel to customer sites as required
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
This position involves performing essential job functions that may include:
- Lifting and carrying up to 75 pounds
- Climbing ladders, working at heights, and accessing rooftops
- Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and working in confined spaces
- Working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
