Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive day-to-day support for desktop systems and related infrastructure at our Westpark location, including hardware, software, and network components.
- Coordinate and execute installations, repairs, upgrades, and troubleshooting activities to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
- Facilitate the creation and management of Active Directory (AD) accounts/users and Exchange accounts/mailboxes within O365 and on-premise servers, ensuring seamless access and communication capabilities for users.
- Travel to our Greens Rd. location as needed to address support issues and maintain consistency across sites.
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- 5-7 years of experience supporting diverse software/hardware products
- Proficiency in Microsoft O365 Suite, particularly OneDrive
- Expertise in rebuilding and configuring desktops and laptops.
- Ability to install and manage network printers
- Knowledge of network protocols and shares
- Experience with VMWare virtualization technology
- Familiarity with Active Directory and user account management
- Competence in Outlook/Exchange for email and communication systems
- Understanding of Cisco VOIP systems
- Proficiency in managing Terminal Servers
- Strong troubleshooting abilities
- Preferable knowledge of Linux/Unix systems
- Knowledge of Cisco routers and switches is advantageous
Education and/or Experience (required):
- Bachelor's/Associate's degree in IT, CS, MIS, or equivalent work experience
- Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to use hands to operate computer keyboard and telephone regularly.
- Requires frequent sitting and reaching with hands and arms.
- Occasional standing and walking may be required.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Specific vision abilities such as close vision and ability to adjust focus are necessary for this role.
