Job Summary
We are looking for a part time host with hosting experience. Part-Time host is my primary need. We may train host to serve and be back up in case of call outs and/or emergencies. This role involves providing exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, efficient hosting, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and experience in food service environments. Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival, creating a positive first impression
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently as a Server/Host
- Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Provide attentive table service, ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and host station
- Assist guests with menu selections, answer questions about menu items, and accommodate special requests
- Handle guest inquiries via phone with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service and smooth operations
- Uphold guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously to ensure a positive experience
Requirements
- Previous Server/Host experience or food service background preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse guests
- Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Experience in hospitality, serving, or hotel guest services is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Professional appearance and demeanor suitable for guest-facing roles
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for full-time employment
