We are seeking a passionate and dedicated barista to join our team. As a barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while serving beverages and food item at a quick pace. Most importantly, we're looking for candidates enthusiastic to connect with customers and their team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment and utensils.
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions digitally using a POS system.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and placing orders as needed.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene in the food preparation area.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment while efficiently managing time during busy periods.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry or retail environment is preferred but not required!
- Familiarity with cash register operations and retail math is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential for maintaining health standards.
- Time management skills are crucial for handling multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
