The HUB Central Access Point for Young Adults provides unconditional support and access to services for young people as they become productive, independent, and active members of the community. We’re looking for a compassionate and motivated individual to join our team and support young adults experiencing housing instability through the Youth Homeless Demonstration Program (YHDP).
In this role, you’ll:
- Provide trauma-informed, strength-based coaching
- Help participants access housing and supportive services
- Collaborate with local partners and landlords
- Facilitate community outreach and educational programs
- Advocate for youth in crisis and coordinate follow-up support
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct intakes and develop individualized goal plans with young adults
- Assist with identifying and securing housing options
- Provide referrals and advocacy for participants in crisis
- Build relationships with community landlords and service providers
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
- Represent The HUB at community meetings and events
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- 2–4 years of experience working with youth or underserved populations
- Strong communication, organization, and public speaking skills
- Knowledge of local housing and community resources
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office technology
- Valid Nebraska driver’s license and clean driving record required
