Our client, Capital Construction Group, has an immediate need for an Assistant Superintendent in the DMV area.

Role Summary
We are seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Superintendent with experience in healthcare construction. The ideal candidate can be an engineer or a trades-based professional with at least 5 years of project supervision experience. This role requires the ability to independently manage construction projects and maintain a valid and clean driver's license.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide and maintain building control lines using transit and level for accurate performance of work.
- Maintain blueprints and field books.
- Prepare and maintain Daily Construction Reports.
- Verify installed work is accurate within accepted tolerance levels.
- Study contract drawings, specifications, and shop drawings to ensure proper coordination.
- Perform various Assistant Superintendent responsibilities as assigned.
- Assist Project Managers with the administrative setup of projects.
- Perform document control for projects and corporately.
- Research and execute RFIs, including documentation for additional costs.
- Assist in preparation of Close-out Manuals.
- Assist Estimators with bid solicitations and preparations.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of project supervision experience in the construction industry, specifically in healthcare construction.
- Engineering or trades-based background.
- Knowledge of surveying instruments and the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with Microsoft Project is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong initiative and ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Commitment to quality and excellence in work product and relationships.
Additional Requirements
- Valid and clean driver's license.
- OSHA 10- or 30-Hour Safety Training is a plus.
Pay Rate: $80,000 per year
