Position Summary
The Inside Sales Representative plays a vital role in achieving revenue growth by handling inbound inquiries, sourcing new opportunities, and collaborating with the Sales and Marketing teams to develop and maintain strong customer relationships. Proven B2B industrial sales, along with strong CRM and analytics, experience is essential for success. This position is hybrid and also requires excellent communication, self-management, and organizational skills.
This position reports directly to the Sales Director.
Location
Our office is located in Newtown, PA. We are hybrid, requiring work on-site at our office 3 days a week. Occasional travel for training or company events may be required.
Salary
$70,000 to $80,000, based on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for inbound sales inquiries and effectively identify and address customer needs.
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-ups and proactive outbound cold calls and emails.
- Manage and maintain accurate pipeline, sales activities, metrics and performance in Hubspot CRM database.
- Analyze sales performance metrics, pipeline data, and conversion rates to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Maintain a strong understanding of products, pricing, and industrial market dynamics.
- Develop relationships with new prospective customers.
- Collaborate with the Sales Team to research and develop new prospects and accounts.
- Partner with Marketing staff to design and execute client acquisition strategies.
- Monitor competitor activity including pricing, products, and promotions.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher, preferably with a STEM focus.
- 3 years prior sales experience in a B2B environment required, ideally in industrial, manufacturing, technical, or similar related industries.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as relationship building skills.
- Advanced proficiency with CRM software, ideally Hubspot, is required.
- Strong analytics experience, with the ability to interpret sales data and KPIs to drive decisions.
- Proven ability to manage multiple opportunities and sales cycles simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools.
- Strong customer service ethic and commitment to providing positive customer experiences.
- Must currently live commutable to our Newtown, PA office, or have concrete plans to relocate within 6 weeks of a job offer.

- Strong time-management and organizational skills.
- Ability to build credibility with engineers, operations, and marketing teams.
- Foreign language skills are a plus.
- Passion for renewable energy and the solar industry.
