What are the responsibilities and job description for the Timekeeper position at The HR Source?
Reporting to the EWR Redevelopment Executive Advisor,
this position will support the EWR Redevelopment Unit staff at Newark Liberty
International Airport. Responsibilities will include: • Support in the preparation of travel related
documents and process procurement card expenses for EWR
Redevelopment staff; • Support the processing of all vendor/contractor
payments, prepare purchase requisitions, expense accounts and business trip
authorizations in SAP, submit requests for vendor numbers • Support the processing of timekeeping related
functions and serve as back up timekeeper for Supervising Office Assistant,
place supply orders from WB Mason and/or stockroom, ordering of business
cards • Assist in the administration of all personnel
functions including onboarding, maintain parking log of all spaces that are
currently used, and track proxy cards, and other tasks as assigned; • Support the processing of purchase order numbers
and/or change order requests in AVM. • Monitoring the general condition and functionality of
the office facilities (Building 352, 351) and equipment. Coordinating with
EWR maintenance, contractors, and janitorial services to address deficiencies
in a timely manner. • Assist in special projects as assigned by the Sr.
Program Director and the EWR Redevelopment staff. • Support in the SIDA badge renewal process
particularly assisting with compiling and filing necessary paperwork. |
Requirements
Candidates
must present the following qualifications to be considered eligible for this
position:
• Applicants must have 3-5 years prior timekeeping
experience preferably with PeopleSoft • Applicants must have a working knowledge of SAP or
similar accounting software and 3 years of demonstrated experience • Applicant must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement due to
the sensitive and confidential nature of the position Ideal
candidates will present the following profile: • Demonstrated ability to work independently, organize
work, prioritize multiple concurrent assignments within strict deadlines, and
work under pressure. • Knowledge of governmental organizational structure,
policies, and procedures. • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication
skills. • Proficiency with Microsoft programs, including Word,
Excel, and Power Point |
