About the Sales & Business Development Representative Position
FASTSIGNS of Findlay is looking for a motivated Sales & Business Development Representative who enjoys meeting people, building relationships, and generating new business. This is a hunter-style sales position focused on prospecting, developing a book of business, and creating long-term customer relationships.
The ideal Sales & Business Development Representative is confident, competitive, personable, persistent, and comfortable starting conversations with business owners and decision-makers.
Responsibilities of the Sales & Business Development Representative:
- Generate new business through cold calling, email outreach, networking, referrals, and community events
- Manage the existing book of business to create repeat business and referrals
- Identify and connect with business owners and decision-makers
- Build and manage a pipeline of prospective customers
- Conduct discovery conversations and recommend solutions based on customer needs
- Prepare estimates, proposals, presentations, and sales contracts
- Follow up consistently and close new business
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Track leads, opportunities, and activities in the company's contact management system
- Meet or exceed sales goals
- Work closely with the design, production, and installation teams to ensure a positive customer experience
A successful Sales & Business Development Representative will be:

- Strong at building relationships and earning trust

Previous experience in sales, business development, customer service, hospitality, retail, recruiting, or other customer-facing roles is a plus. Demonstrated success in a performance-driven environment may be considered in place of traditional sales experience.
Compensation & Benefits
- $18-22/hour base pay (depending on experience)
