Must have and maintain a valid state of Georgia driver’s license and be fully insurable for the purpose of obtaining clearance on company “Authorized Drivers List”. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends, as needed.

Position Summary:
The Youth Services Coordinator is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and management of strategy and initiatives that are specifically designed to advance early childhood education, K-12 educational development, attainment and enhancement, post-secondary education and encourage lifelong learning and self-sufficiency among youth served by AH. This role is pivotal in delivering services that emphasize Economic Empowerment. Educational advancement, Character and Leadership, and Health & Wellness.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supports and implements and strategies and initiatives for early childhood education, K-12 educational development, attainment and enhancement, post-secondary education and encourage lifelong learning and self-sufficiency among youth served by AHA
- Assist with organizing youth services, events, and initiatives, including scholarships, college exploration, and literacy initiatives through Book Rich Environments, and Santa for a Day.
- Conduct outreach and community engagement to recruit youth and involve families, using phone calls, flyers, and door-to-door visits.
- Build and maintain partnerships with local officials, community groups, and service providers to expand youth opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of services and referrals, support monthly event promotion, and represent AH at meetings and community forums.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in social services or a related field is preferred.
- Three (3) years of experience working with youth of all ages is required.
- Demonstrated capacity to manage relationships with partners and oversee contracts and grants.
- Knowledge of how to promote positive youth development using a restorative approach required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong understanding of youth populations and their unique needs.
- Knowledge of best practices for monitoring and evaluating contracted social services.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to build effective working relationships with internal teams and external partners.
- Highly organized with proficiency in using current office technology and software applications.
- Flexible and capable of supporting special projects as needed.
- Perform other special project duties as assigned.
