The Role
As Housekeeping Operations Manager, you’ll oversee daily operations, quality control, and inventory management, while supporting a team of supervisors, field staff, and laundry attendants. You’ll ensure every property is guest-ready and meets our high standards. This is a hands-on leadership role — you’ll step in to help when needed and lead by example.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations & quality across 130 properties
- Conduct 15–20 property inspections per week
- Collaborate with Housekeeping Supervisor to assign and support cleaning teams
- Review and approve daily assignments; create assignments if Supervisor is absent
- Ensure laundry operations are fully covered and running smoothly
- Manage inventory & supplies (linens, cleaning products, guest consumables)
- Handle escalated client or cleaner concerns
- Assist with onboarding and retraining team members
- Step in to clean or inspect properties during slow or peak seasons
- Perform any duties of roles below when coverage is needed
- Attend weekly 1:1 meeting with the General Manager

What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s/Bachelor’s preferred
- 2 years in housekeeping, hospitality, or vacation rental operations
- Team management experience (supervisors, cleaners, or similar)
- Inventory & supply management experience
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Tech-savvy (scheduling software, spreadsheets, basic office tech)
- Flexible and willing to perform fill-in duties when needed
- Dependable, punctual, professional, and solutions-oriented
- Able to work weekends & holidays
- Physically able to walk properties, climb stairs, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs
- Reliable insured transportation
Supervisor Coordination
- Operations Manager works closely with the Housekeeping Supervisor
Pre-Employment Requirements
- Must pass a drug test
- Must pass a background check
- Must provide professional references
Incentive Pay
- Eligible for a quarterly performance incentive after one year of employment
- Incentive is based on team performance, quality, and attendance
- Paid four times per year, rewarding reliability and high performance
