Pets at home: One social, sweet cat — no active care duties, but comfortable being followed around
Travel expected: Occasional, not currently planned — openness to domestic/international travel is a nice-to-have
About the Role
A warm, established Westchester family is looking for an experienced, long-term nanny for their infant son. Both parents are thoughtful, detail-oriented first-time parents who want someone who becomes a true extension of their household — adapting to their systems, proactively tracking supplies and milestones, and growing with the family over time. One parent works from home full-time, so comfort sharing space with a working parent is an important part of this role.
What You Will Do
- Full daily infant care: feeding, diapering, developmental engagement
- Track and communicate supply needs (formula, diapers, etc.) proactively
- Plan age-appropriate sensory and educational activities as the baby grows
- Light laundry (baby's items only)
- Work comfortably alongside a parent working from home and occasional visiting grandparents
- Comfortable presence around a friendly household cat
Schedule and Compensation
- Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
- $30–35/hour
- Long-term placement strongly preferred (minimum 1–2 years)
Requirements
- 5 years of professional nanny experience
- Genuine experience with infants
- Legally authorized to work in the US
- Valid driver's license
- Strong references demonstrating long-term placement history
