Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Hotel Maintenance / Handyman to ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. Duties

• Must have experience with plumbing repair, changing shower valves, new drain lines, copper pipe repair for broken or leaking, change toilets, service clogged lines, etc.
• Basic knowlegdge of electric for breaker replacement to repair outlets, test lines
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Repair and troubleshoot issues related to electrical equipment, plumbing systems, HVAC units, and building interior components using hand tools and schematics.
• Perform maintenance painting, carpentry repairs, and facilities equipment upkeep to maintain the hotel’s aesthetic appeal and safety standards.
• Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and ohmmeters to diagnose electrical problems accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, schematics, and operational logs for all facilities equipment.
• Lead small repair projects or assist contractors with welding, electrical work, or specialized repairs as needed.
• Support customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or guests, ensuring minimal disruption to their experience.Qualifications
• Proven experience in facilities maintenance, repair operations (MRO), or similar roles within hospitality or residential settings.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, schematics, and electrical equipment repair techniques.
• Knowledge of HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance and repair, building interior maintenance, and residential painting.
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, electrical work, welding skills, and the use of ohmmeters.
• Ability to perform plumbing repairs including pipe fitting and fixture replacement; experience with HVAC systems is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills in English; capable of understanding technical instructions and explaining issues clearly.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
