Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager with daily store operations and overall store performance.
- Lead, coach, and motivate baristas and shift supervisors to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Support recruiting, onboarding, training, and development of team members.
- Ensure beverages, food, and customer service consistently meet Starbucks quality standards.
- Help manage staffing, scheduling, breaks, and labor costs according to business needs.
- Monitor inventory, product availability, ordering, and waste.
- Maintain high standards for store cleanliness, organization, and food safety.
- Handle customer questions, concerns, and service recovery professionally.
- Assist with cash handling, deposits, opening and closing procedures, and loss prevention.
- Help achieve sales, customer satisfaction, productivity, and operational targets.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and team-oriented workplace culture.
- Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is unavailable.
Qualifications
- Previous retail, restaurant, hospitality, or customer-service experience required.
- Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
