Job Summary:
The Director of Rooms Operations is a passionate hospitality leader responsible for overseeing all operations within the Rooms Division while shaping the overall guest journey across the Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Services, and Loss Prevention. They will maximize profits, employee engagement, and guest satisfaction.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Supervises & manages team members of all day-to-day operations in room operations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all aspects of day-to-day operations in the Rooms Division, ensuring seamless, genuine and caring service at every touchpoint
- Oversee Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Services and Loss Prevention, maintaining the highest standards of presentation, cleanliness, and service delivery
- Lead applicable shared services functions for the boutique luxury hotel in the complex
- Works closely with the Rooms leadership team to train, develop, and mentor team members
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, and performance management for all Departments in the Rooms Division
- Monitor and analyze guest feedback and operational performance, implementing improvements to continuously elevate the guest experience
- Drive initiatives that improve service delivery, operational efficiency, and overall guest satisfaction
- Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, labor costs, and operational efficiency
- Works closely with the revenue management team to maximize revenue opportunities for the hotel.
- Manage, influence and validate safety and security processes
- Partner cross-functionally with Food & Beverage, Sales, and Marketing to ensure cohesive, memorable stays
- Upholds Ithaka Hospitality Partners' standards of excellence throughout all guest interactions.
- Ensures room operations comply with all Ithaka, local, and legal regulations and processes.
- Performs other duties as assigned

- Must be proficient in Microsoft programs.
- Must have basic Mathematical skills.
Education & Experience:
- High school degree or equivalent is required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Field preferred.
- At least three years of experience in a hotel leadership position is required.
- Complete understanding of Forbes and AAA service standards and able to implement and execute them in a casual upscale environment required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
