Delivery Driver / Medical Equipment Installer

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for carefully transporting medical equipment to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to customer satisfaction.

Duties

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks, to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload equipment, ensuring that all packages are secured and handled with care.
• Install delivered items in a clean, professional, and timely manner
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
• Navigate efficiently using GPS or maps to optimize delivery routes.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients upon delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues encountered during transport.
• Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar courier role is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are a must to ensure efficient use of time
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the job.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is advantageous.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is preferred.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if necessary.
• Drug Screening and Background Checks will be conducted as needed.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $19.00 - $30.00 per hour
