What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Cook and Prep Cook position at The Horny Toad American Bar and Grill & The Wild Hare American Bar and Grill?
We are searching for part-time & full-time Line Cooks. A good candidate will be responsible for efficiently preparing and cooking meals with care & consistency in product quality in a high-volume bar and grill. Other responsibilities include creating proper meal portions and keeping a sanitized work area throughout shift.
Responsibilities & Duties
* Follow & utilize our serving portion sizes and all basic meal prep procedures per our standard recipes
* Ensure that the kitchen, all food prep areas and all food storage areas meet restaurant cleaning standards
* Work with team of cooks to do portion prep work for other shifts when needed
* Monitor product freshness and rotate out old product based on a schedule created by the restaurant
Qualifications & Skills
* Ability to work on your feet for eight hours or more a day
* Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment
* Excellent verbal communication and organization skills
* Must be able to lift at least 20 pounds at a time on a regular basis

Pay: $11.00 - $18.00 per hour
