Duties
- Lead engaging riding lessons tailored to students’ skill levels, from beginner to advanced
- Ensure safety protocols are strictly followed during all riding activities and stable operations
- Develop personalized training plans that promote skill progression and confidence building
- Maintain the well-being of horses through proper care, grooming, and handling techniques
- Foster a positive environment by encouraging teamwork, sportsmanship, and respectful behavior
- Manage behavior issues effectively using proven behavior management strategies
- Organize and supervise riding competitions, clinics, or special events to enhance learning experiences
Skills
- Proven experience in horse riding instruction with strong knowledge of horsemanship principles
- Background in sports coaching, physical education teaching, or martial arts such as Karate or Judo is highly desirable
- Experience working with children or students in educational or recreational settings
- Strong understanding of behavior management techniques to ensure safety and discipline
- Additional skills in swimming, cheerleading, climbing, or gymnastics are a plus for versatile instruction
