School Nurse (K–12)

We are currently seeking a School Nurse (RN or CSN) to join our dedicated team. In this role, you’ll provide essential medical support to K–12 students, ensuring their health, safety, and well-being throughout the school day. What You’ll Do:
Provide care to students requiring medical attention, including those with developmental delays or chronic health conditions
Assess the condition of injured or ill students and respond promptly, providing appropriate emergency management until further medical assistance is available
Maintain accurate student medical records and ensure proper documentation when students transfer schools
Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and healthcare professionals regarding student health needs
Make referrals and take appropriate action in suspected cases of abuse or neglect, following mandated reporting guidelines
Promote a safe and healthy school environment by supporting wellness initiatives and safety practices
Assist with toileting, mobility, and personal care needs as required
Provide support as needed in classrooms, on buses, or during other school activities
Perform additional duties as assigned by nursing management
What We’re Looking For:
Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) or Certified School Nurse (CSN)
Experience: Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental delays preferred
Skills: Excellent clinical judgment, communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Required Clearances & Training:
Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance
Act 34 State Criminal History Clearance
Act 114 FBI Clearance (DOE)
Act 168 Clearance (as applicable)
Mandated Reporter Training
CPR/First Aid Certification
Recent Physical/TB Test
