About the Role

As Behavior Director at our Mars campus, you'll have the opportunity to shape behavior programming across our school while providing clinical leadership, mentoring staff, and partnering with a multidisciplinary team to help students reach meaningful goals.

Core Responsibilities

Lead Behavior Programming

Direct all behavior-related services across the North campus by developing, implementing, and evaluating programming that supports student success. Responsibilities include overseeing Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs), ABA skill acquisition plans, data systems, and related procedures while ensuring alignment with current best practices.

Support Quality and Compliance

Ensure behavior programming meets professional, state, and federal standards by overseeing target selection, data collection systems, teaching strategies, reinforcement schedules, and implementation fidelity.

Build Relationships Across the Campus

Partner with students, families, faculty, staff, and leadership to create effective, individualized supports. Maintain clear communication and documentation in alignment with Hope policies and procedures.

Provide Supervision and Documentation

Oversee reliable data collection related to IEP goals and ABA targets. Provide supervision and support for RBTs and BCBA candidates while maintaining accurate service documentation.

Lead Assessment and Staff Development

Provide training and guidance on behavioral assessment tools, including VB-MAPP and functional behavior assessments, as well as Crisis Prevention protocols and other related practices.

What You Bring

Required Credentials & Experience

  • Master's degree required

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification

  • Behavior Specialist License (BSL)

  • Completion of 8-Hour Supervision Course

  • Experience working with individuals with developmental delays or disabilities

  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills

Required Clearances

  • Act 33 – PA Child Abuse History Clearance

  • Act 34 – PA State Criminal History Clearance

  • Act 114 – FBI Clearance (Department of Education)

  • Act 126 – Mandated Reporter Training

  • Act 168 – Previous Employer Disclosure

  • State License of Practice and/or Certification

  • CPR/First Aid Certification

  • TB Test & Physical
