Job Title: Support Staff Reports To: Residence Manager
Job Type: Full Time / Part Time- Hourly - (Non-Exempt) Day / Night Shifts
Job Requirements:
A Support Staff Worker must have the capacity to work a flexible work schedule, have the interpersonal skills to work with a variety of people, be able to record and maintain records. Must be able to get to and from work via own transportation. Individuals hired for the position shall have no criminal record. Individual must have high school diploma, clean driver’s license and be able to transport residents.
Specific Job Responsibilities:
1. Maintains safety and security of facility and able to supervise clients to follow program rules.
2. Breathalyzes and/or drug tests and perform security checks for each client.
3.Observe all health and safety measures in place
4. Maintains cleanliness of agency facility.
5. May receive donations and must write receipt for donations following the appropriate procedures for in-kind donations.
6. Completes required duties as assigned to shift.
7. Teaches effective communication skills through the use of respectful, verbal, physical and emotional role modeling.
8. Completes a walk-through of facility at the beginning of each shift to review condition of unit which will ensure safety and orderliness.
9. Assists residents to access their medications and follows Agency's policies and procedures.
10. Serves nutritious meals through preparation, cooking and distribution
11. Documents observations regarding all clients daily.
12. Participates in staff meetings and staff training (including CPR & First Aid), as required.
13. Performs any other duties as assigned by the Resident Manager.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
