Barista

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Barista to join our dynamic café team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your ability to provide exceptional service and maintain a clean, organized workspace will contribute to the overall success of our café.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Assist customers with menu selections and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
• Operate cash registers, handle transactions accurately, and manage cash flow.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including workstations, dining areas, and equipment.
• Adhere to food safety and handling standards while preparing food items.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
• Manage time effectively to meet customer demands while maintaining product quality.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or café environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products to enhance customer experience.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and providing accurate change.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• A friendly demeanor with strong communication skills to engage with customers positively.
