What You'll Do
As a Line Cook, you'll work closely with the Kitchen Manager and fellow team members to prepare high-quality meals while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients, sauces, dressings, and garnishes for daily service
- Cook and plate menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Maintain consistency in food quality, presentation, and portion control
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
- Properly rotate and store inventory using FIFO practices
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and assist with cleaning and maintenance
- Work efficiently during busy meal periods while maintaining quality
- Assist with opening, closing, and kitchen prep duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Restaurant or kitchen experience preferred, but not required
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Reliable transportation to Sedgwick, KS
Schedule
- Day shifts available
- Night shifts available
- Weekend availability required (except Sundays)
