Maintenance Technician

The Honey Do Service, Inc. is looking for a skilled and experienced Maintenance Superintendent to join our team of trusted home improvement and maintenance professionals. Our ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and highly experienced in residential and commercial maintenance. They should possess a strong working knowledge of carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical, and general building repairs, with the ability to diagnose issues, coordinate repairs, and ensure high-quality workmanship.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with excellent troubleshooting abilities, strong communication skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Professionalism, reliability, and positive interactions with customers and team members are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance operations and field technicians.
• Oversee preventative and corrective maintenance for residential and commercial properties.
• Troubleshoot building, structural, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and carpentry issues.
• Ensure all repairs and maintenance work meet company quality standards and safety requirements.
• Conduct job site inspections, safety meetings, and quality control evaluations.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environments.
• Schedule and coordinate materials, tools, equipment, and rental needs for maintenance projects.
• Monitor technician productivity, workmanship, and adherence to company standards.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.
• Assist with training and mentoring maintenance technicians to improve efficiency and craftsmanship.
• Ensure company vehicles, tools, and equipment are properly maintained and accounted for.

Requirements

• Minimum of 15 years of maintenance, construction, or facilities experience.
• Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Extensive knowledge of carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, and light electrical repairs.
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs and repair coordination.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Knowledge of building materials, maintenance equipment, and rental procedures.
• Ability to pass a background check with no felony convictions and a drug screening.
